GEORGE NEWS FLASH - The baby boy found in a pit toilet in Thembalethu last month has been named Survivor, because - in his short life - he has learned to do just that.
It was more than a month ago that the Police found Survivor in the Asazani squatter camp in Thembalethu - and still no mother.
The four-month-old boy was found alive, but severely exhausted, on the evening of 9 May after he was thrown into the pit toilet earlier that day. He was recently released from the George Hospital where he had received medical care, and was placed in the care of Social Services.
