GEORGE NEWS FLASH - The George SAPS Cluster won the Cluster Sport Challenge for the third time in a row.

"The Cluster Sport Challenge was introduced in 2011 as an attempt to enhance the fitness levels of Police officials and to encourage all members to be part of physical activities within the SAPS," explains Captain Malcolm Pojie, spokesperson of the police in the Southern Cape.

Pojie explained that at the event members are encouraged to take part in different sporting codes such as the 5km walk, tug of war, sevens rugby, golf, action soccer, netball, volleyball, table tennis, chess and for the not so fit, the potjiekos
competition."
