Georgians invited to help make music video of RAF
00:00 (GMT+2), Thu, 24 May 2012
GEORGE NEWS - 'Rapid Auto Fire' will showcase their brand of rock music during a two-night show at the George Arts Theatre, on 29 and 30 June. On those nights the audiences are invited to make their own video recordings of the performances and send it to the group. The combined video clippings will be shown on youTube.

Rapid Auto Fire (RAF) is the joining of forces of four musicians with disparate backgrounds and musical influences who get together as a musical unit, writing and producing their own brand of original rock music. The band has been together, in its present form, for approximately only one year, but during that time they have managed to write, produce and set in motion the 'runaway-train' that has become RAF.

Each of the musicians: Jonathan Gunn - guitars and vocals, Oliver Saggerson - lead guitar, Mark Wiggett - drums and Mo Archer - bass and vocals are signed up with Sony Music (Publishing). The band itself however, is independently producing its first album of original rock music from their studio in Knysna.

RAF was recently approached by the organisers of the Knysna Speed-Festival who were searching for a suitable soundtrack for their 'Speed-Festival 2012 Promotional-Video' and the band obliged with a track called One on One, a guitar-heavy, foot-stomping piece of original rock which suited the fast-paced, engine-howling content of the video. This video has now been released following an in-studio video recording.

The results can be seen (and heard) on the 'Speed-Festival' website: www.speedfestival.co.za as well as on youTube ane the 'Rapid Auto Fire' Facebook pages. 'Rapid Auto Fire headlined the 'Speed-Festival After-Party' on Saturday.
