NATIONAL NEWS - Seventeen people were injured when a bus crashed into an overturned truck between Britstown and Victoria West, Northern Cape police said on Wednesday.
Colonel Hendrik Swart said the accident happened about 10km from Britstown at 11.50pm on Tuesday.
The truck, which was transporting steel, overturned and obstructed the road. The bus then ran into the truck, injuring 15 passengers and seriously injuring the bus and truck drivers.
Swart said all the injured were taken to the hospital at De Aar.
"They all appear to be out of danger."
Police were investigating a case of reckless driving.
