Two of the medallists, Dillan Mark Coetzee and Sheldon van Kersen.
GEORGE NEWS - Three students of the George Goju Ryu Karate dojo of Wessel's Martial Arts Academy participated at the SWD NMA-ISKA Sport Martial Arts tournament and received medals for thier brilliant performances.

Anuschka Zaayman (from Outeniqua High School) performed brilliantly, receiving gold medals for the junior and senior kata division, gold for the Jiu Jitsu grappling division, gold for the senior Tag team event, silver for the junior tag team event and silver for kumite, where she took part in the u.18 male division as there was no female division for her to participate in.
Dillan Coetzee received silver medals for both the high kicking and the extreme kicking divisions.

Sheldon van Kersen (Outeniqua Primary School) held the dojo's name high by performing his traditional empty hand kata and his creative weapons kata in fine style receiving silver and bronze respectively.
