GEORGE NEWS - Branden Grace (23), who was sharpened to become a professional golfer at the Ernie Els & Fancourt Foundation, took his second Volvo trophy this year by convincingly winning the Chinese Open.
Grace, who was in front from the start, kept his cool and eventually secured the title by three shots.
With this victory, he joins a small group of golfers who could succeed in winning three European Series titles in one season.
At Binhai Lake, Grace set a score of 69 on the final day to make his score for the tournament 267 (-21) which is three strokes better than the defending champion, Nicolas Colsaerts, who finished on 270.
With this victory, Grace jumped 205 positions on the international rankings to take the 70th position.
