GEORGE BUSINESS NEWS - South African Personal and Corporate Insurance Brokers (Sapcor) had their humble beginnings in Pretoria in 1992 when Dolph and Gillian Lombard started their short term insurance brokerage from home.
During the past 18 years, Sapcor has grown into a national brokerage and now has branches situated in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Nelspruit, Bethlehem, Bloemfontein, Harrismith, Lydenburg, Mossel Bay and George. The company's headoffice remains in Pretoria.
Hollard Insurance Company acquired a 30% share in Sapcor in 2009.
Dolph and Gillian decided to move to George four years ago and recently purchased a building on the corner of York and Churchill Street out of which they run the George Sapcor branch. The couple renovated and upgraded the building to its new, modern farmhouse look.
Sapcor is passionate about insurance and has a history of trust and integrity in the market.
They pride themselves in offering innovative ideas and have various packages available for golfers, pensioners and businesses.
They specialise in insurance for commercial, motor, household, buildings, body corporate, hospitality and agriculture. They also offer clients an extensive range of additional products.
Sapcor has mandates from various insurance companies. All administration is done in-house, on their behalf. This allows Sapcor to offer outstanding service and consistent personalised advice.
