| The Jolly Lama |
Fran Kirsten was born a little more than a half century ago.
She loves nature and everything that reminds her of the Higher Power that rules our lives here on earth.
Fran lives with her partner Jan and their four dogs in the Wildenrness, waking every morning to the beauty of the lake with its every changing colours.
Her two boys, Alex (28) and Nick (27), both successful web developers, come and visit their mother whenever they can get away from their busy lives in Cape Town.
Although she doesn't like to be called religious, Fran is very spiritual and tries to see the greater good in people and life. When troubled you'll find her sitting near water communing with God and His angels, trying to make sense of the turmoil. (Believe me, she has seen and experienced some horrific things in her life.)
Fran used to be very active before she shattered her ankel and is chomping on the bit to get back to golf which she loves so much. She walks her dogs twice a day and loves to swim whenever she gets the time.
She is happiest when she can help others.

This quote pops up everywhere, haunting me time and time again. What is it that the senator was actually sa... |

| "Ever feel an angel's breath in the gentle breeze? A teardrop in the falling rain? Hear a whisper amongst the rustle of leaves? Or been kissed by a lone snowflake? Nature is an angel's favorite hiding place."

| Walking into our office you may be forgiven for thinking that you have been transported to another area, what with the communal hand-held fan lying conveniently across a screen. The reason for this fan is quite simple, it's used to relieve the hotflushes that three of us suffer from at the most inco... |

"What is she rambling on about," I hear you ask. Well, let me explain.

| What did Mahatma Gandhi really mean when he said: "Be the change you want to see in the world"? I have often pondered what this great man was really meaning with this profound quote.
Yes, I realise that I am soley responsible for what happens in an around me in my little place under the... |
