Every two years there is one focal point in the sector, yes this is Photokina, the world’s leading imaging fair.
Photokina brings together the industry, trade, professional users and end consumers with a passion for photography, in a way no other event can match. Be sure you don’t miss the world’s most important platform for placing orders, gathering information and enjoying exciting experiences. We are all waiting to see all the new products that will be released, Canon will also announce two new mirrorless cameras in September 2016 - one will be for professional photographers and other for amateurs. One of the cameras will have a full frame sensor and the other camera will have an aps-c sensor.
Nikon will announce a mid-range entry level full frame DSLR on the Photokina 2016 show. The camera will be called a Nikon D620. At the moment we don’t know about the specification of the camera but we do believe the upcoming camera will have the D620 name and a 24 megapixel full frame sensor with an excellent dynamic range. Nikon is working seriously on full frame sensor camera and a mirrorless camera, Nikon will announce two new models one for prosumer and one professional.
We have also seen a patent from Nikon about the full frame lens in the past year and we are almost sure that we will see Nikon's full frame mirrorless this year. The Olympus E-M1 II will arrive this September with very High-end specification that includes Hybrid CMOS AF sensor with Phase AF points and will also record 4K videos.
We will release some amazing news of local content at Photokina in our next blog.
